On Saturday 9th October 2010 over 70 Geddington Senior Citizens sat down for a 3 course dinner provided by the GVFB. They were then entertained in the spirit of Old Time Variety Theatre by The Singing Magician, a comedian, a couple of sketches and the GVFB Pot Belly Babes. Over the Bank Holiday weekend 8 Firemen decorated the storage cupboard used by the Senior Citizens Luncheon Club at the Village Hall and cleared areas to the front and rear of the Primary School. Thank you to Community Officer Andrew Hammond for organising the work and everyone involved for their time and effort.

If you had always thought that the course for The Trundle was made up on the day here’s proof positive otherwise. Station Officer Doran (Moley?), PoCO Seddon (Ratty?) and PMC Ward (Badger?) messing about in boats in order to finely tune the first major challenge that would face the teams.
