On Saturday 9th October 2010 over 70 Geddington Senior Citizens sat down for a 3 course dinner provided by the GVFB. They were then entertained in the spirit of Old Time Variety Theatre by The Singing Magician, a comedian, a couple of sketches and the GVFB Pot Belly Babes. Over 20 members of the Fire Brigade Society, led by Dave Smith, were hosted by John Doran (Station Officer), David Hall (Chief Engineer) and John Wilkinson (Adjutant) at the Fire Station to inspect the Queen Eleanor. Read the rest of this entry »
If you had always thought that the course for The Trundle was made up on the day here’s proof positive otherwise. Station Officer Doran (Moley?), PoCO Seddon (Ratty?) and PMC Ward (Badger?) messing about in boats in order to finely tune the first major challenge that would face the teams.
