Congratulations to all the entrants to the 2012 GVFB “bake-off” for the excellent and tasty efforts.
The three winning Pieketeers were:

1. Section Leader Byers with Fish Surprise
2. Brigade Major Streatfield with Traditional Steak and Kidney (his first ever pie)
3. Fireman Downhill with Traditional Cornish Pasties

Thanks to all the entrants and better luck next year.

Next year Games night will run from Thursday 3^rd January to Thursday 31^st January 2013, the next great GVFB “bake-off”.  Entrants are required to provide a baked pasta dish sufficient for four.  The judges’ word is law.  (For those in doubt, the key concept is “Italian”).
