Yet another batch of historically important archives have been unearthed which we would like to share with you.
This month, we have another action report from 1980, this time describing a flood in Chapel lane. Also included is a letter from the chief and an ode dated 1978.
It’s been a busy 12 months and the CO has sent me over 60 photos for you all to enjoy! Some are happy times to remember, others perhaps best forgotten.

This month we have another collection of documents that the Fire Marshalls have approved for public release.
The list includes an action report from 1980 and descriptions of medals from 1996.
Following pressure from various Freedom of Information activist groups, the Fire Marshalls have agreed to release a number of previously classified documents into the publlic domain.
Under what they are calling “The Fifteen Year Rule”, previously unseen archives will be upened up over a number of months starting today.
