Fête accompli!

Thank you for supporting us at the Geddington Summer Fete! This year, we were raising money for our marquee and trailer which you may have seen at numerous village events over the last few years. Your support will allow us to continue to support other village organisations and events! THANK YOU.

2020 Spring Clean

The GVFB and village volunteers today completed part 2 of the annual Geddington and Newton spring clean. Circa 30 large bags of rubbish were collected from the roadside verges and hedgerows of Newton Rd, out toward Newton Village.

Passers by and cyclists were delighted with the activity taking place and to be fair to all involved the result is fantastic. Well done to organiser Pete Faulkner, Section Leader GVFB.

Potbelly Brewery Tour

Last night saw eighteen members fo the brigade visit the Potbelly Brewery in Kettering for a tour and sampling session.  Potbelly Brewery is a Micro Brewery supplying Real Ales from the heart of Northamptonshire – something we VERY much like to support. Continue reading

GVFB raise funds at the Garage Sale

Thank you to the Friends of the Church for hosting yet another successful Great Geddington Garage Sale, and thank you to all those who bought from our stall.  Monies raised help support our activities in the community, such as the Senior Citizens’ Dinner and our street-cleaning efforts.
